Renowned Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band, the Red Hot Copy Peppers, will perform an impassioned recreation of their greatest hits and fan favourites at Monroe’s Live on Friday, March 31. From ‘By the Way,’ to ‘Can't Stop,’ ‘Under the Bridge,’ to ‘Give it Away,’ the band will delve into the legendary rockers extensive catalogue with dynamism and flair in a unique performance that celebrates 40 years of the Californian funk, metal and alt rock giants.

This talented group of musicians, united by their love for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, hail from Ireland, Brazil and Hungary. With Martin McIntyre on vocals, Andre Carvalho on guitar, Darragh Malloy on bass and Gabriel Patrone on drums, they deliver an energetic and powerful set each time.

Returning to the Dominick Street venue once again following a stomping performance in September, this much-loved band are true fanatics. Together, they deliver the authentic live experience in a show that has been lauded by audiences across Ireland.

“We are truly looking forward to returning to Monroe’s Live, where the crowd are always amazing to us,” says vocalist Martin McIntyre.

“This time around, we are especially excited, because this year marks 40 years of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Our show promises to span all eras of the career of the Californian funk masters. Our audiences often remark on how we are not just a tribute show, we are true fans of the music, and that exudes from the stage.”

From their humble beginnings, they have gone on to play at numerous locations far and wide, from pubs and clubs to open-air festivals.

“We have been on the go for over 8 years now and have played the length and breadth of Ireland,” says Martin.

“Recently, we played a fantastic show at The Dublin Castle venue in London, where such acts as Madness, Blur, Amy Winehouse and Lumineers had their beginnings.”
