Nourish your body and sole at Hooked Seafood Restaurant

Hooked Seafood Restaurants are brought to you by father and daughter team, Nuisin and Ali Jalilvand. Together, the family business has successfully sailed through the many challenges experienced in the hospitality sector since the launch of their very first Seafood restaurant in Henry Street in Galway in 2014.

The dynamic duo proudly opened their second location in Barna, quickly becoming the heart and sole of the village. Like many other Galway establishments, during the pandemic, the restaurant was forced to close. The eagerly anticipated restaurant recently reopened, soon after being featured on the television series, John Torode’s Ireland.

Nuisin and Ali have stuck to the grass roots of who they are, with the concept of community and connection of industry lends a hand to their unique award-winning restaurants. Their menus match their mission statement, “From sea to land our menu is focused on providing customers with fresh, local, quality produce and seasonal seafood”, the pricing is affordable, and the genuine hospitality is key. The aim is that the very best of fresh local seafood comes straight from the fishing boats right to your table. That same provenance is experienced in Ali’s Fish Market, with fish sourced straight from auction by Ali and prepared, with excellence in mind, by the skilled hand craftmanship of the fishmongers.

Ali’s wholesale and retail background has provided a wealth of knowledge and connections in the fishing industry. This allows the business to source the very best of local Irish sustainable seafood. Hooked has a range of dishes inspired by the best seafood trends from around the world but keeping in time with the Irish flavour. This is further elevated by including some incredibly hard working and passionate chefs and wait staff who, alongside Managing Director, Nuisin, help to cultivate and curate the earthy, family friendly and wholesome Hooked eateries that we know and love.
