All children have enormous and often untapped potential. More that four million children around the world develop that potential with Kumon study each day.

A free assessment establishes the ‘just right’ start point for each student. With daily practice (approximately 20 minutes ), on work individualised to the student at every point, using traditional paper worksheets, or digital worksheets on a tablet with stylus, the student is able to progress smoothly. Over time many students progress to concepts far beyond their school level.

Strong skills in language and maths are the key to all round academic achievement. Each year, Kumon Galway City West celebrates the achievements of its students, awarding bronze medals to those studying six months ahead of their age and silver medals to those working two or more years ahead of their age. Gold medals are presented to students working three or more years ahead of their age and “completers”, who achieve university entrance levels of competence in their subjects, receive a large framed certificate marking their elite achievement.
