Another pro win for Mulkerrins

Martin Mulkerrins continues to make his mark on the WPH Pro-Tour in the United States.

The Moycullen ace is the first Galwayman, and Connacht player, to win on the World Players of Handball pro-circuit, and at the Mardi Gras, New Orleans Pro-Stop played last weekend, he defeated the number one seed, Lucho Cordova 15-2,15-11.

It was his fourth win on the pro circuit, having previously won in Tucson, Salt Lake City and Portland.

Mulkerrins brought his A-game and did not drop a game in the four matches he played over the weekend. His power serves matched with precision kill and pass shots saw him dominate the tournament.

Next stop on the circuit is Missoula, Montana in three weeks' time. Mulkerrins is now the number two seed on the WPH rankings.
