Twenty-two new jobs for City Limits

Up to 22 new jobs are expected to be created at City Limits family entertainment and leisure centre in the next year, according to as spokesperson for Artyco, the company which has recently taken over the running of the Oranmore enterprise.

An amalgamation of two of the most established leisure operators in Ireland, Tobyco and Artic Leisure, Artyco plans to develop the existing facilities at City Limits, increasing the workforce from 48 to 70 as development comes on track.

The largest entertainment centre in the west of Ireland, it comprises entertainment, gaming and play areas in addition to Amazonia Restaurant, V-bar and the City Bowl, an 18 lane tenpin bowling centre with the only private licensed lanes in Ireland.

“We are delighted to have secured the lease for City Limits as we see huge potential for entertainment centres such as this to provide value added packages for both families and corporate use,” said Jane Brown, operations and marketing director for Artyco.

“We will be using the combined experience of Tobyco and Artic Leisure, two of the most established companies operating in the leisure sectors, to develop City Limits as the number one entertainment centre in the west of Ireland.”

Artyco have recently taken over the Leisure Zone in Waterford and plan to take over the running of up to 10 family entertainment centres in Ireland over the next two years.
