Music legend Christy Moore plans to return to Galway for two shows on Friday, September 1 and Saturday, September 9 ,following a wave of sell out shows across the country.
Having sold out Leisureland, Galway this summer with ease, as well as 13 shows in Vicar Street, tickets are bound to go like hot cakes.
Moore's Galway concerts were a showcase of his incredible talent and knowledge of the Irish music scene as a longstanding veteran, he wowed crowds with songs from his own repetoire and others.
The Galway Avertiser reviews of Moore's perfomance at his September 2 concert, saying "Moore's strong voice shows no sign of dulling and his witty mind is still churning out topical and humorous new verses to his most popular songs.
"After preforming the ever popular 'Lisdoonvarna', Christy took a break to walk the audience down memory lane, talking about gigging in the old Pavillion Ballroom, which was known locally as the Hanger, saying 'some of you may have been to the Hanger, and some of your parents may have been conceived in the back of the Hanger,' to uproarious laughter from the crowd."
