POWER, offering world leading fitness classes and amenities, has opened the doors to its fourth location at The Dean Galway. Taking up residence on the lower ground floor, POWER is a space like no other. The club utilises and highlights the original vaulted brickwork railway tunnel that connected Galway to Clifden, which has been transformed into a boxing studio, making it one of the most striking features of the hotel. This is just one of the special features of this luxury health club, which is the first of its kind in Galway.
POWER Galway is home to three unique experience led fitness classes: POWER Box, POWER Run, and MetCon. Delivered by Ireland’s top instructors, you can expect 45 minutes of effective and efficient programming curated to the beat of a banging playlist. Located within the restored train tunnel, the boxing studio is one of the most immersive training spaces in Ireland, if not Europe. The abundance of LED lights which wrap the chamber of the historic brickwork tunnel make it feel like you are boxing in a nightclub.
At the centre of the club is a flexible training area to suit your training needs with an extensive range of functional and cardio equipment from Eleiko, TechnoGym, and more. POWER Galway is not just about working out. The onsite luxurious thermal suite is the perfect place to unwind after your workout, or even after a hard day’s work. The suite includes a heated hydrotherapy pool with massage jets surrounded by a striking hand painted mural. Let your tensions melt away in the beautifully handcrafted cedar sauna, or in the mosaic tiled steam room that boasts eucalyptus infusions.
