The last remaining office floor in Phase 1 of the impressive Bonham Quay campus in Galway has been leased to Planet.

The campus comprises four office buildings which are designed to achieve LEED Gold, a BER of A3, and NZEB compliance, a focus has been placed on passive design measures to reduce overall energy consumption.
Upon completion Bonham Quay will create a healthy, greener, work environment for its 2,600 workforce through its international sustainability charity Bioregional. The One Planet Living Action Plan takes a holistic approach to sustainability, and not only evaluates traditional measures of sustainability like transport, energy, and waste, but also quality of life issues such as health and happiness.
Paddy McDonald of Edward Capital said: “We are delighted to welcome Planet to Bonham Quay which is a fantastic addition to the campus. Phase 2 of Bonham Quay, which has commenced, will continue to stimulate further urban regeneration in Galway and rebalance development in favour of the city centre.”
Phase 1 Bonham Quay completion is a major boost to Galway city and has been instrumental in attracting inward investment into the city. The city’s strategic plan sets an ambition to be a leading global city renowned as a successful, competitive, compact, and accessible city of scale that supports a high quality of life. Phase 2, a further 85,000sq ft of office space, is currently under construction with an estimated delivery of Q1 2024.
