Alan Murphy's Galway WFC are away to Bohemians in the FAI Cup at Dalymount Park on Saturday (6pm ).
It promises to be a demanding assignment for an improving Galway outfit against a well organised Bohemians side.
Last weekend Lucia Lobato netted a late goal as Galway WFC hit the front before eventually drawing 1-1 with Wexford Youths in the WNL.
"The performance level was good, to be honest," Murphy says. "It was good to be back after the break. Obviously we have missed the games. So the girls were delighted to be in again and back at it.
"The result was probably a fair one if everything is being said. We scored with two or three minutes to go, but unfortunately we didn't hold on. Maybe it is a sign of where we are that we are very disappointed coming from Wexford after not winning the game. So maybe it is a good sign."
Murphy is fully aware of Bohemians' ability ahead of the match at the Phibsboro venue. "Seán [Byrne] has done really good work with that Bohs side," he says. "They have strength in depth, they have shown that at the weekend and before the break with different players coming in. They may have a player injured or away, but it doesn't seem to make any difference to them.
"We will have to be on our game and on our performance levels to get something from it. We are not even looking at a cup run, we are just looking at every game as it comes. It is not even an opportunity to get away from the league because we have been away from it for the break.
"It is another game, it is just another opportunity to perform, to continue the performance level, and to make sure we are at it."
