Pre-season set to resume shortly for local clubs
It is that time of the year again when clubs are finalising preparations for the upcoming Galway FA season. The end of August isn't that far away.
In the Galway FA premier division Salthill Devon set the standard with Victor Collins' steering them to a long awaited title.
The chasing pack, though, are already planning and plotting. One interesting development is that Galway United midfielder Mikie Rowe is set to coach West United in pre-season with Emlyn Long taking over as manager from William Grant, who will remain involved with the team.
