Summer courses at the French Institute for adults, secondary school students, and children

Would you like to make the most of the long summer days while learning, refreshing. or practising your French?

The French Institute is running summer courses this year starting on May 16. There are courses for adults at all levels, from beginners to advanced, and a choice of morning or evening classes. The courses last six weeks, for two hours a week. They will end on the last week of June, just in time for this enjoyable holiday in France.

For secondary school students who wish to catch up, revise, and get a head start for the next academic year, and/or prepare for exams, there will be one-week long intensive courses in June and August. The French Institute has built an excellent reputation for providing courses for secondary school students thanks to the dedication of its teachers, who are all qualified native French teachers with years of experience of the Irish education system.

The institute also proposes a six-week course for children aged four to 12 years. These will take place on Saturdays starting on May 21. The teacher will keep children engaged and actively learning, while having great fun in French.

Last but not least, for adults, teenagers and children wishing to benefit from immersing themselves in the French language and culture, the institute organises various language programmes in the beautiful seaside city of Nice. Programmes include French classes, sport, cultural activities, and excursions if wished, with a choice of accommodation, including home stays with a host family. The institute also organises traditional exchanges, which are flexible in terms of dates and duration.
