Fahy Travel looking for your comments

Travel was one of the hardest industries during covid. Fahy Travel in Galway closed its doors in March 2020 and spent the following 18 months awaiting an avalanche of cancellations, rebooking holidays and sorting refunds.

The business reopened in July 2021 only to face another series of cancellations and increased travel restrictions. Now open fully, the company is delighted see travel restrictions ease and become less complicated for customers. n an effort to control numbers calling into the shop the business made the decision to work by appointment only, and have found that customers are very happy with the experience.

A holiday consultation can take from 30 – 60 minutes depending on the complexity of the trip and customers are delighted to be able to book a time slot with a particular sales consultant and not have to wait in the shop for someone to be free.

Much of our business is now done by phone and email, customers find this more convenient avoiding long queues in the office. In order to continuously improve our service, we are looking to research the Travel market in the west to determine your preferences and are asking anyone with an interest to complete our survey on the following link ; https://forms.gle/WyEHyVQjyV8iUWYr5

It can also be found on our facebook page and the Galway Advertiser Facebook page. On completion you will be entered into a draw for an Easter Hamper. (Draw to take place this weekend )
