Galway and Mayo Ladies will be hoping weather does not affect Sunday's re-fixed Lidl NFL meeting in in Tuam Stadium (2pm ) after last weekend's postponement due to Storm Eunice.
This local derby is one of five rescheduled National Football League round two fixtures that fell foul of last weekend's weather and, as always, the duel with these arch rivals is hotly anticipated.
Having lost their opener by 0-10 to 0-7 to Donegal, Galway will be under pressure to get a much-needed win, while their opponents saw off Westmeath with a canter. Michael Moyles' charges produced a runaway seven goals and 22 points - albeit in perfect conditions at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
Mayo could find the conditions a little different this weekend in Tuam, but remain favourites to add a second win in division one. However Galway will not be making it easy for their Connacht rivals, and will be primed for victory to get their campaign back on track.
The ticket only game takes place at Tuam Stadium.
