Churches burgled in spate of county break-ins
Sometime between Saturday January 30 and Saturday February 5 items were damaged inside the Church of Mary Immaculate, Caherlistrane.
Gardaí in Tuam Garda Station area asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or anyone with any information about the incident to make contact with investigating gardaí. Also on Friday February 4 between 4pm and 8.15pm St Mary’s Church, Headford was broken into.
During the course of the break in damage was caused to the exterior of the church as well as damage to a number of items inside the church.
Gardaí in Headford are asking anyone who may have seen anything unusual in or around St Mary’s Church, Headford on Friday evening or anyone with any information in relation to the incident to make contact.

Sometime between 4pm on Wednesday February 3 and 7.30am on Thursday February 4 a premises in Gleantaun, Ballnasloe just off the Dublin Road were broken into.
During the course of the burglary an industrial welder was stolen from the premises. Gardaí in Ballinasloe are asking anyone that may have seen anything suspicious in or around the Dublin Road or Glentaun area on Wednesday night or Thursday morning, anyone with any information about the break in or anyone who may have been offered an industrial welder for sale and believes it may have been stolen to contact them at Ballinasloe Garda Station on 09096 31890.
Gardai probe house fires in Ballybane
Gardaí in Galway are investigating two separate criminal damage by fire incidents that took place over the past week.
In the early hours of Thursday morning February 3, gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fire at a house at Castle Park, Ballybane shortly before 2am.
An Garda Síochána would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have video/camera footage in this area, including dash-cam footage covering the period from midnight to 1.30am.
In another incident on Sunday February 6 at approximately 11.20pm a fire was started at another house at Castle Park, Ballybane. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything that could help with the investigation or anyone with camera footage of the area between 10.30pm and midnight to make contact with investigating gardaí.

Appeal for information after Athenry incident
Sometime between 2.30pm on Saturday February 5 and 10am on Sunday February 6 extensive damaged was caused to a black Audi A6 car parked along Old Church Road, Athenry outside the Church of the Assumption when it was struck by another vehicle.
Gardaí in Athenry Garda Station are asking anyone who may have witnessed this damage being caused or anyone that may have any information that could aid their investigation to contact them on 091-844016.
Gardaí in Galway are appealing for witnesses after vandals sprayed graffiti on a property at Ballyglunin, Tuam on Sunday February 6 between midnight and 11am.
