Athenry Credit Union will soon launch the ‘Think Local Support’ initiative which is designed to promote the importance of communities working together and in turn rewarding local clubs, schools and societies through the Credit Union.
The Credit Union aim to reward these organisations with help from new members and new Current account Holders. These members will have the opportunity to reward funding to a participating local Club, School or Society of their choice.
Philip Lavelle Marketing Officer Athenry Credit Union said he believes this is a fantastic opportunity for local clubs, schools and societies to raise some much needed funds.
“Over the past couple of years it has been very difficult for organisations to fundraise. The Credit Union, Clubs, Schools and Societies are at the heart of every community in Ireland and collectively we should work together for the benefit of the communities we serve.’
