IAM Sold Property Auctions – the year in review

As another rollercoaster of a year is nearing its end, IAM Sold Property Auctions wishes all its clients a prosperous New Year as the company reviews its year of auctions for 2021.

The auction team celebrated an impressive run of 41 online auctions across Ireland and Northern Ireland, with a wide range of properties offered and sold throughout the year. The company dealt with a wide range of sales including family homes, investment properties, commercial buildings, sites, and several successful sales of agricultural holdings. Company directors Patrick Folan and Patrick Convey announced a strong year in the property market, with high demand and sales continuing right up until the end of the year. IAM Sold plans to continue with their monthly online auction dates in 2022 and have scheduled 10 online auction dates for next year.

Mr Folan noted: “We have seen demand for properties continue right through the year and December has actually been our busiest month of the year which is unusual. Activity in the market has been bullish and our auction platform has become the go-to for auctioneers and vendors looking to sell without the usual time delays and issues with the private treaty process. We have been running our online auctions since 2012 and each year we see more uptake and demand. However over the past two years, we have seen a noticeable increase in interest from buyers, vendors, and partner auctioneers.”

Co-director Patrick Convey commented: “The success of our auctions is down to the large marketing campaigns we undertake in Ireland and abroad while also working in close partnership with our local partner auctioneers. This combination of national auction marketing in partnership with the local auctioneer offers both access to the local buying pool and the broader reach the auction ensures. We have enjoyed another very busy year and we will all be more than happy to put the feet up for a few days over Christmas.”
