Junior Brother to play Róisín Dubh

County Kerry singer-songwriter to close out 2021 at the Dominick Street venue

IDIOSYNCRATIC KERRY singer-songwriter, Junior Brother is admired by Lankum, Lisa O’Neill, and Pillow Queens, and will close at 2021 at the Róisín Dubh.

Junior Brother (aka Ronan Kealy ) will play an early evening show at the Dominick Street venue on Thursday December 30, with doors at 5.30pm.

His 2019 debut album, Pull The Right Rope, was nominated for the Choice Music Prize Award for Irish Album of the Year, while the 2019 RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards, saw him up for Best Folk Album and Best Emerging Folk Act. His stock also rose with both The Rubberbandits and Cillian Murphy saying they were fans.

Junior Brother has also enjoyed airplay on BBC6 radio and television appearances on The Tommy Tiernan Show and Other Voices.
