A Costcutter store in Bealadangan sold a €1 million winning ticket for Saturday’s Lotto Plus 1 draw. Noel Daniels, who recently took over the running of the winning Costcutter store in Bealadangan last July was thrilled to hear that one of his customers became Ireland’s latest Lotto millionaire over the weekend.
“We still can’t believe it,” he said. “The whole community is absolutely buzzing knowing that one of our near neighbours could be a lotto millionaire.
“Word of the win has started to spread locally so we’re going to enjoy the next few days and hopefully the winner checks their ticket and claims their prize just before Christmas. We are located in a rural area but the store services quite a large surrounding community and we’re overjoyed knowing that it could be one of those people.”
