Get moving again with Genevieve Ryan School of Dance

It has been a crazy year. Our children have spent so much time inside, with group activities on hold and school through a screen, and it is safe to say children, teens, and young adults could all use a fun dose of physical activity. It is time to get moving.

Now that lockdown has ended and restrictions are easing, the Genevieve Ryan School of Dance is opening its studio doors again, and opening to a wider community of dancers. By developing each dancer's abilities, skills, and techniques while nurturing creativity, the school has designed classes that help young students realise their potential - in body and mind - through the performing arts.

As of September 20, classes will resume in Salthill, Moycullen, Ballinderreen, and Claregalway, and the GRDA will again be able to provide a safe space for children, teens, and adults to dance and have fun. The school offers a variety of style including hip hop, jazz, musical theatre, and contemporary as well as classes catering for adults with intellectual disabilities, the Genevieve Ryan Dance Academy has something for everyone.

GRDA welcomes all children, teens, and adults to pursue dance and to benefit from all it has to offer - from healthy activity and exercise to a liberating sense of confidence, capability, and self-expression.
