Schoolchildren can ask Micheal Martin questions

Study & Careers director, Dr. Fidelma Healy Eames, is to interview Taoiseach Micheal Martin in her next live interview in the #InspiringIreland #InspiringStudents series.

This interview will be live-streamed into primary and second-level classrooms nationally next Monday, Sept. 13, 12 noon, in collaboration with the Education Support Centres of Ireland (ESCI ).

“Promoting active citizenship and students’ voice is a key tenet of Irish education today. I am delighted An Taoiseach is taking time out of his busy schedule to engage with students and teachers in Irish primary and second-level classrooms,” she said.

“Already more than 500 schools have registered to hear this interview and many students have submitted questions for An Taoiseach. They will have the opportunity to hear An Taoiseach talk about his childhood growing up, what inspired him, where he found his voice, why he chose a career in politics and what drives him today.

Places for this interview can be booked via local education centres and questions you would like to ask An Taoiseach can be emailed to [email protected] or tweet your questions to the Study and Careers twitter handle @educate_talent’.
