The seventh annual Croí Virtual Night Run takes place on Friday October 8, and the locally based heart and stroke charity is encouraging the public to get involved.
Last year saw a hugely successful virtual event, with participants taking part from across Ireland and internationally. This year, participants can take part in their own local area on October 8 at 8pm - or whatever time is most suitable - for a 5k run, jog, or walk. Croí is asking that all participants respect public health, safety, and social distancing guidelines.
.
Participants will receive a special Croí Night Run goodie bag, with a reflective Croí Night Run long-sleeve running top, virtual race number, and a limited-edition Night Run “blinky heart” to wear on the night. The event is sponsored by Irish Life Health and all proceeds will go directly to supporting Croí services.
“We are excited to bring you a fun, virtual event for 2021,” said Christine Flanagan, Croí’s director of fundraising. “People living with heart disease and stroke need our support and services more than ever, and we are so grateful for your support of this fundraising event.”
Registration is €25 (adults ) and €15 (over 12s ) via www.croi.ie/nightrun (teams are also welcome ). For more information, email [email protected]
