SOLAS PHOTOGRAPHY Club, based in Oranmore, is holding an online exhibition of its members' work, which will include a number of award winning photographs.
Solas is a club of amateur photographers and has c40 members. This inaugural virtual exhibition is at www.bit.ly/solasphoto21 A physical exhibition is planned for the near future.
For the past four years, Solas has hosted an annual series of lectures with leading national and international experts in the field. Through the pandemic, the club has successfully continued its programme of lectures and competitions online.
The club has also been successful in national competitions, and several members have won national and international awards for their work.
