SCENES FROM The Stinky Cheese Man, based on Jon Scieszka’s book The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales, will be performed in the Town Hall Studio.
The show will be performed by ALâ, the community arts, theatre, and education organisation, and feature a cast of many nationalities, from Wednesday May 27 to Saturday 30 at 8.30pm.
ALâ, which is celebrating it’s fifth year in existence, has been chosen as one of the acts to take to the streets during the Volvo Ocean Race stopover. The group will perform selections from The Stinky Cheese Man on the streets of Galway on Saturday 30 from 10am to 12 noon.
Audiences will travel with Jack the narrator from the race village, to the Spanish Arch, to the Claddagh, stopping along the way for performers to play out scenes.
