Ciarán Cotter of BIGbin says they are delighted to open in Galway.

“We’re delighted to be able to provide one of our BIGbins to the people of Newcastle, Galway and we’re sure that it will be as useful for them as it has been for those in Cork, Limerick, Dublin, Sligo, and a host of other locations around the country.

“BIGbin is great for those occasions when you have more rubbish than usual, either because of a special event or maybe because you missed a bin collection. You have the power to dispose of the rubbish when it suits you - there’s no contract and no obligation.

“It’s also proving to be a great tool in the ongoing fight against illegal dumping, which was highlighted again recently by Independent Councillor Mike Cubbard from Newcastle who spoke out after trolley loads of rubbish were discovered at a public walkway between Camilaun and Coogan Park. BIGbin is a cost effective solution to the scourge of illegal dumping.”
