Galwaywoman Mai Connole has won a whopping €20,000 in the Health Services Staffs Credit Union’s (HSSCU’s ) Member Prize Draw.
She has made history as HSSCU’s first main prize draw winner from the Galway branch. Mai joins two fellow Galway winners who won €3,000 and €1,000 respectively from HSSCU’s draw this July.
Speaking of her big win, Mai spoke of her delight.
“When I got the phone call to say I won €20,000, it felt like I won the Lotto. I was in shock for days because I’ve never won anything in my life,” she said.
HSSCU’s member-funded Prize Draw is a celebration, offering HSSCU members ample opportunities to win. Last year, HSSCU had over 900 winners and this year the prize pot is expected to reach close to €1 MILLION!
HSSCU’s marketing manager, Pádraig Power, said the prize draw is always something they celebrate.
“We pride ourselves on helping our community in all ways possible and hosting our Member Prize Draw is something we are very proud to do. I was delighted to call Mai to inform her of her big win and have to thank her for being such a gracious winner. Mai is well known in our Galway branch so we are all ecstatic for her,” he said.
