Galway WFC face Wexford Youths on Saturday

The game will be streamed live on www.loitv.ie

Stephen Lally's Galway WFC host Wexford Youths in the WNL at Eamonn Deacy Park on Saturday afternoon (2pm ).

Late lapses in concentration and some unfortunate injuries proved costly for Galway at Jackman Park on Sunday as Treaty United battled back to divide the spoils.

Lynsey McKey and Meabh De Burca scored for Galway, who conceded two goals in the closing stages.

"We were disappointed with the overall result because we felt we had the game under control," Lally says. "Unfortunately we didn't see out the game.

"We can take a lot of positives and that is what I want to keep working on from now on. The players are beginning to realise what is needed, what I am expecting from them.

"I can see it in patches, so we have a lot of positives to work on. We are seeing good signs."

Lally remains adamant that Galway WFC can develop further in the coming weeks and months. "There is potential, I know that, I can see it in training.

"Once we start doing it over longer periods in matches we will be fine."

Wexford Youths, who include the immensely promising Ellen Molloy, are currently third in the table, one point behind Peamount United and Shelbourne.
