The Raines - cowgirls get their guns on new single

'Love is sublime (til it draws out its gun)' is streaming now across all major digital platforms

So say The Raines, the Galway Americana trio of Ruth Dillon, Juliana Erkkonen and Yvonne Tiernan, about their new single, 'Love is sublime (til it draws out its gun )' which has just been released.

An original composition by the band, the song was recorded at various locations by Ivan O'Shea, Justin McCarthy, Cesar Benzoni, Stephen Monaghan, and Juliana Erkkonen. Joining the trio on the recording are Liam Bradley (drums ), Wil Merrigan (bass ), Cesar Benzoni (mandolin ), Justin McCarthy and (slide guitar ).

'Love is sublime (til it draws out its gun )' was produced by Brian Masterson, famous for his work with The Chieftains, Van Morrison, Willie Nelson, and The Bothy band. Since its release, it has made No 1 on the Itunes Singer-Songwriter chart and is now on the RTE Radio 1 recommended list.

The song is the follow up to the trio’s debut single 'Bare Feet On Grass', which reached No 1 on the iTunes Singer Songwriter Chart, was an RTE.ie Culture 'Tune of the Week', and which enjoyed more than one million impacts on Irish radio.
