THE MASKED Singer, a top-secret singing competition, where nine vocalists, shrouded from head to toe in elaborate costumes, concealing their identity, and competing against one another, takes place this week.
Hosted by the Galway Musical Society, this online event will take place tomorrow, Friday April 30 at 8pm. The show is a fundraiser for the society’s 2022 production of RENT!
With each performance, viewers and other contestants will be left to guess who the singer is. The singers may attempt to throw off the crowd, but there will be clues dropped throughout the show. At the end of the show each singer will reveal their true identity.
Singers taking part will be Ciara Lally Croke, Kevin Griffin, Niamh McSweeney, Brianna Greaney, and Hanna Söjdén. Expect to see Big Bird, Hello Kitty, and Peppa Pig masks.
