What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Never being bored.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Jamaican social commentator Louise Bennet Coverley.

Which living person do you most admire?

My mom.

Which is the trait you most deplore in yourself?

Overthinking things, like I was doing here.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Cashew nuts, which I crave and eat like other people eat chocolate.

What is your favourite journey?

Any, with or to the people I love.

On what occasion do you lie?

Me? Lie? Never!

Which living person do you most despise?

I try not to despise anyone, but I struggled before the latest presidential auguration...

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

Jesus. A close second, my family and a very close third - talking to people.

When and where were you happiest?

In Paris with my husband...over a huge crab claw in the crab restaurant!

Which talent would you most like to have?

To play a musical instrument well.

What is your current state of mind?

Contented.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Being married for nearly 30 years (Don't start calculating my age now! ).

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?

A conscience. Wait. That doesn't fit does it? But sure I'm used to not fitting!

What is your most treasured possession?

My son says, 'Something that is a family heirloom'.

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Enslavement. Especially the Trans-Atlantic variety.

What is your favourite occupation?

Personal Quiet Time where I develop my vertical relationship.

What is the quality you most like in a man?

Fidelity.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?

Vulnerability.

Lousie Bennett Coverley, Maya Angelou, Alma Norman, Linton Kwesi Johnson, HA Vaughan, CS Lewis, Mervyn Morris, and John Hewitt

What is your motto?

I want to live in a way that makes my Father proud.
