Small businesses in Galway are being urged to apply for the new €60 million Small Business Assistance Scheme for Covid.
The scheme is open to businesses ineligible for the Covid Restrictions Support Scheme, and other sector specific grants. Payments of €8,000 are available in 2021 to qualifying firms. The closing date for receipt of applications is April 21.
Independent Galway East TD Sean Canney is encouraging businesses to apply. “It is important small businesses continue to be supported through the pandemic,” he said. “These are much needed supports and I encourage all firms to apply for the grants available.”
