N.O.A.H release new single with Booka Brass Band

'Darkest Hour' finds band grappling with themes of mental health and anxiety

'DARKEST HOUR' the new single from the exciting Irish rock band N.O.A.H, and featuring the acclaimed Booka Brass Band, is out now.

N.O.A.H - Ryan Hill, Adam Rooney and Ronan Hynes - have won praise and airplay since their debut single 'Shine'. "‘A big vibrant indie sound emanates from N.O.A.H’s 'Shine'," declared The Last Mixtape, while Turn Up The Volume said, "If this is a taster of what this fresh starting trio is capable of then Bono should step aside and give the torch to this new generation."

The song deals with themes of suspicion, paranoia, and anxiety: "It's been a week since I've felt normal...You drive around this town, that made you feel so small.” Speaking about the new single, the band said: "It is about mental health, and how a sane mind quickly begins to deteriorate, we experience a person's descent into their 'darkest hour'."

N.O.A.H formed in January 2020 and took their name from the Biblical story of Noah and the Ark, as its theme of new beginnings. is fundamental to their core values.
