This is the time of the year for ‘les bonnes résolutions’, perhaps more so than ever, in what looks like being an extraordinary but challenging year. So, why not start the year by joining a French class with the French Institute Galway? The friendly staff members are all fully qualified, very experienced, and native, thus ensuring all students are immersed in an authentic linguistic and cultural experience.
The French Institute Galway offers classes for adults, businesses, secondary school students, and children from four years old. The school is now enrolling for the new term, starting the week of January 18 for secondary school students and children, and January 25 for adults.
There are many reasons to learn French in 2021. It may yet be the best year to do so if you wish to take up a new language, refresh your school French, prepare for your long-awaited holidays, or even plan a new life in France. It may also be an opportunity to enhance your professional profile, avail of greater job opportunities, or develop your company’s potential. As parents, you may want to give your children a head start in French or make sure they get good grades in their Junior or Leaving Cert examinations. Whatever your objectives, The French Institute Galway has a course to suit you.
Since March 2020, the school has adapted to the prevailing special circumstances due to the Covid-19 pandemic, by providing all courses live online. It has delivered the same teaching quality and personal attention as before, upon which its excellent reputation has been built over the years. This term, most classes will remain online, except for children's classes and some secondary school classes, following current health guidelines.
For summer 2021, which it is hoped will bring greater freedom of movement, the school proposes language immersion programmes for all ages and all levels in beautiful Nice, as well as ‘School in France’ and standard exchange programmes for secondary school students. These programmes are extremely successful as there is no better way to learn a language than to fully immerse oneself in the culture of a country. Farewell to 2020 and welcome to the long awaited and promising 2021! Adieu 2020 et bienvenue à 2021!
