Local heart charity Croí has announced the appointment of Edel Lambe as its new fundraising manager.
A Galway native, Ms Lambe has six years’ management experience of fundraising in the charitable sector. She joins Croí from DEBRA Ireland, the national charity for the genetic skin condition epidermolysis bullosa, where she was based in Dublin as head of donor care. While with DEBRA Ireland she successfully led the significant expansion of that charity.
Croí is currently embarking on the next phase of its development which will involve exciting and innovative community projects across a range of cardiovascular healthcare areas. Ms Lambe said she is delighted to be relocating back to Galway and is looking forward to building relationships with donors, supporters, patients, and the many others committed to the fight against heart disease in the west of Ireland.
