“St. Vincent de Paul has had an enormous impact on my life. The effect SVP has had on my ability to go to University cannot be overstated. Without the help of SVP over the last few years, I would not have been able to complete my education,” said a local woman this week.
“The support that SVP provided myself and my family took an immense amount of pressure off our shoulders. Their support allowed me to focus on my education instead of constantly worrying how I will afford to pay my college fees.
“Before I spoke with those in St. Vincent de Paul, I was always concerned about how I would afford to pay my college fees, rent and other expenses encountered living away from home.
“Getting through to the end of my college career did not appear possible. I felt overcome with worry before speaking with those in SVP. With the support of SVP, I can now say I have graduated college. I will never be able to thank those in SVP enough for the support and help they provided myself and my family.
“It means so much to me that people would be so kind and supportive. SVP allowed me to finish my degree and helped me achieve my dreams. I cannot say it enough but thank you SVP.”
