Fantasy Football round four preview

Game week three brought 36 goals, thrillers, and upset; it really had it all. Result of the round came at the Etihad Stadium where Leicester City thumped Man City 5-2.

Elsewhere Man United somehow stole three points from Brighton after seeing their woodwork hit five times and earning a penalty after the full-time whistle had been blown; Chelsea came back from 3-0 down to rescue a point against West Brom; and Everton continue to set the pace with another three points garnered at Crystal Palace.

However, the conclusion of the round means we have our first Manager of the Month gong to hand out; a pair of socks from SockerClub.com's selection of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United, or Ireland offerings (one club per winner ).

Manager of the Month: September

So without further delay; drum rolls please. The winner of the Advertiser Tribal League's Manager of the Month for September is Anthony Davitt and his team Pique Blinders with a superb score of 245 points.

Congratulations to Anthony and his charges who can contact SockerClub.com via DM on Twitter or email [email protected] to arrange delivery of the prize.

Top picks

Game week four signals the start of a new month and the final round before we go into the international break. Who are the players who will get Fantasy managers' teams moving back up the Advertiser Tribal League table?

Sadio Mané (Liverpool - £11.9 million ) v Aston Villa

The Senegalese midfielder may have not had the best game in his side's opening match of the campaign but since then Sadio Mané has been flying. Two goals against Chelsea and a further one against Arsenal sees Liverpool's number 10 as one of the league's hottest properties and guaranteed points accumulator for Fantasy managers. On Sunday night, The Reds travel to the Midlands to take on Aston Villa. The Villains have started the new term with two wins from two with the ever pleasing stat of zero goals conceded. However Dean Smith's men will face a step up in quality at Villa Park and I cannot see them rising to it. Liverpool will win with Mané getting on the scoresheet. Get him in your team.

Danny Ings (Southampton - £8.4 million ) v West Brom

Whatever is in the south coast air must be special because Danny Ings is arguably the best goalscorer in the Premier League since his move to St Mary's. Picking up where he left off last season, Ings has three goals in three games as The Saints finally registered points on the board thanks to a 1-0 over Burnley last weekend. On Sunday, Southampton host West Brom. The Baggies earned their first point last Saturday against Chelsea and while scoring three goals against one of the league's top teams seems impressive on paper, Slavan Blilc's charges were fortunate Chelsea are allergic to defending. I'm going for a comfortable Southampton victory with Ings adding to his goal tally.

Richarlison (Everton - £8 million ) v Brighton

While everyone is being occupied by Richarlison's strike partner, Dominic Calvert-Lewin who five goals in three games, the Brazilian attacker has been going about his business quietly and effectively with a goal and three assists in his first three outings. On Saturday, The Toffees host Brighton at Goodison Park. The Seagulls must be wondering how they only have three points from their first three games. They were the better team in the 3-1 opening day defeat to Chelsea and then somehow lost 3-2 to Man United last weekend having hit the post five times and conceding a penalty in the seventh minute of injury time. I believe this game will be open with goals - not something you would have associated with these teams before the start of the season. I'm going with 4-2 home win and Richarlison to be the main man.
