Tuesday night is comedy night at the Róisín Dubh once again

Sally-Anne Hayward, John Colleary, and John Kelly to deliver the Tuesday night laughs

TUESDAY NIGHTS have finally become funny again, now the Róisín Dubh’s Comedy KARLnival has returned, and headlining the next installment are Sally-Anne Hayward and John Colleary.

The show takes place on Tuesday September 22 with Sally-Anne Hayward (Sarah Millican tour support ) on the Big Screen via Zoom, and Colum McDonnell live onstage in Róisín Dubh.

Sally-Anne Hayward combines the things you shouldn't like about your best friend's mum with the sensibilities of Jack the Ripper. She has appeared on Absolutely Fabulous and Why the Long Faces, and was the TV warm-up for Channel 4’s Deal or No Deal. She is a regular compere at Glastonbury Festival.

Chortle.co.uk has praised her “innate effusive likeability...a primetime act”, while the BBC declared her “fabulous” and The Independent called her “exceptionally funny”.

John Colleary, apart from being one of the most in demand comics in the land, has also co-written and starred in IFTA nominated shows, The Savage Eye (RTÉ 2 ) and Irish Pictorial Weekly (RTÉ 1 ), The Panel (RTÉ 2 ), and Stand and Deliver - Live from Róisín Dubh. He has also scooped a PPI award for his topical sketch writing and performance on Today FM’s The Last Word. Capital Comedy said he is "worth seeing again and again and again".

Support is from John Kelly, a one-liner comic from Dublin. He has performed at some of Ireland’s most prestigious comedy venues, and appeared on the globally popular Facts YouTube channel.
