Steve and Joe Wall - acoustic shows at the Róisín

Brothers to play stripped down, socially distanced gig featuring songs by The Stunning and The Walls

STEVE AND Joe Wall of The Stunning and The Walls are coming to the Róisín Dubh to perform four acoustic, stripped down, socially distant, gigs.

The brothers will play the Dominick Street venue on Friday October 2 (7pm and 9.30pm ) and Saturday 3 (7pm and 9.30pm ). As well as performing songs, the brothers will share the stories of what inspired them.

This year also marks the 30th anniversary of The Stunning’s classic debut album, Paradise In The Picturehouse. To mark the occasion, the band have re-issued the album on vinyl for the first time since 1990, along with a songbook.

Expect to hear songs from that album, including ‘Brewing Up A Storm' and ‘Half Past Two’, which The Irish Times called "alternative anthems", along with ‘Empty Feeling’, ‘To the Bright and Shining Sun’, and ‘Heads Are Gonna Roll’, while also showcasing some newer material. As Golden Plec said, “The Wall brothers can still hold a crowd in the palm of their hands.”

Tickets include dinner and the show. Places are limited. Booking is via www.roisindubh.net Government guidelines will be observed: Table service only, payment is by cash/card at your table; hand sanitisers will be available; face masks must be worn upon entry and exit.
