My mum. She’s class!

Expecting too much from people, including myself.

What is your greatest extravagance?

My underwear is older than my children. I don’t have extravagances.

What is your favourite journey?

DUB - JFK.

On what occasion do you lie?

To my kids, all the time, I get creative.

Which living person do you most despise?

Donald Trump. Is there any other answer?

What or who is the greatest love of your life?

Francis Finan - Pronounced like financial which he told me when we first met so it is very surprising he is the love of my life, really.

When and where were you happiest?

The day my son met my daughter.

Which talent would you most like to have?

To be able to sing.

What is your current state of mind?

Flabbergasted.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Tart – my semi-autobiographical play- COMING SOON.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what do you think it would be?

A man, preferably.

What is your most treasured possession?

Can’t think of a single thing!

What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?

Being lonely in company.

Actor.

Empathy.

Empathy.

Who are your favourite writers?

TV gets more of my attention at the moment than books, so Michaela Coel and Phoebe Waller Bridge.

Eimear Finan is a Galway based actor and writer. Her debut play, Tart, was to be performed at the Galway Theatre Festival as a work in progress under the direction of Justin Martin (The Crown, The Inheritance ).
