Town Hall Theatre reopens on Saturday

GIAF events and concerts by Mary Coughlan and Sean Keane to get the ball rolling

THE TOWN Hall Theatre and the Black Box Theatre will reopen for live performances from this Saturday [September 5], for a limited number of events each week between now and Christmas.

There will be talks and events for Galway International Arts Festival's autumn programme (September 5, 6, 12, and 26 ); concerts by Sean Keane (September 19 ) and Mary Coughlan (September 24 and 25 ), and a special Culture Night (September 18 ) event with the Town Hall’s Remote Control Artist In Residence and Galway Dance project.

Staying safe at the show

The shows will have reduced capacity audiences, in line with Government Covid-19, there will be socially distanced seating, managed bathroom queuing, and the bar will not be open. Attendees are asked to wear face masks and arrive at least 20 minutes before the show begins. Audience members should proceed straight to their assigned seats. When the event is over, a member of staff will indicate when your section is to leave.
