Writer to read from new book, in event presented by CĂșirt, Tramp Press, and Kenny's Bookshop

THE MULTI-award winning writer, Doireann Ní Ghríofa, will read from her new work, A Ghost in the Throat, in a special online event, taking place later this month.

A Ghost In The Throat mixes candid personal memoir with a literary mystery story, as Doireann tries to track down the circumstances behind a murder in the late 1700s which inspired 'Caoineadh Airt Uí Laoghaire' by Eibhlín Dubh Ní Chonaill. Declan Kiberd has called it, "the greatest poem written in either Ireland or Britain during the eighteenth century" by Declan Kiberd.
