The Coronas are coming to Galway

Band launch new album, True Love Waits, with a whistle-stop tour of Ireland

THE CORONAS, one of Ireland's most popular bands, release their new album, True Love Waits, with a whistle-stop tour of Ireland, which includes Galway.

The band will tour Ireland in a Super Sprinkles ice-cream van, and tomorrow, Friday July 31, at 6pm, they will arrive at Murphy’s Ice Cream, High Street. They will meet fans, sign copies of the album, and give away free pots of Murphy’s most popular flavour, Dingle Sea Salt.

"When we realised that we weren’t going to be able to promote the album like before, we started thinking about different ideas to mark the launch," says lead singer Danny O'Reilly. "With everything that’s going on at the moment we thought it might add a tiny bit of positivity into the world and we can’t wait to get out and see some of our fans and friends around the country that we haven’t seen since before lockdown."
Keep an eye on The Corona's social media feeds for updates on the tour. The Coronas and their team will be following all Government COVID-19 guidelines with regard to social distancing and sanitisation on their mini-tour.
