If you are missing those festival vibes and want to get the gang back together, then Galway Summer Garden is the place to be.
A colourful entertainment hub consisting of luxury bell tents that can be booked out for an entire evening or weekend afternoon for groups of up to six, Galway Summer Garden at Salthill allows for safe, socially distanced, yet relaxed get-togethers.
This weekend, emerging from lockdown hibernation are Galway’s own, five piece festival favourites, The Amazing Apples performing tomorrow and the temporary re-location of John Conneely Inc from its Sunday Night Residency at the Roisin Dubh.
Tickets for both are €25 under canvas and there is a limited amount of (socially distanced ) stage front seating under a canopy for €10.
The Galway Races takes place behind closed doors this year from July 27 to August 2. However, all is not lost when it comes to having the Race Week experience at Galway Summer Garden. Race Week entertainment packages featuring screen broadcasting the feature races, picnic and barbecue menus, punditry, evening entertainment, and even Ladies’ Day are now available on www.galwaysummergarden.ie Situated right on the sea front in Salthill (on the old golf driving range in fact ), these festive tents are the perfect party venue and can be set up for dining or just lounging around. You can order a picnic and barbecue feast, or a ‘lite bite’, and sip on cocktails or a creamy pint of Guinness, all delivered directly to your tent while you chill out.
The luxury bell tents are fully fitted with soft furnishings, cosy blankets, low lighting, and funky festival decor to create the perfect ambience. Whether you are in the mood for a barbecue party or a quiet evening with a few drinks, everything is taken care of so you can focus on having fun.
Guests do not have any safety concerns to dampen the fun either, as each tent has a designated toilet specifically for their group and all tents and toilets are disinfected after each gathering.
Galway Summer Garden is brought to you by Milestone Inventive, the same team which produces the Galway International Oyster and Seafood Festival and the Galway Christmas Market.
