Some weeks ago the Galway Advertiser reported the great Bon Iver (aka Justin Vernon - pictured ), the man behind one of 2008’s great albums, For Emma, Forever Ago, was due to play Galway this summer. Now it has been confirmed. Bon Iver will play the Galway Arts Festival on Thursday July 23. A venue and start time has yet to be confirmed but this is certainly going to be one of the must see concerts of the year.
