Caprice in Church Lane reopens

‘Caprice’ means a sudden change of mood, and that is certainly what has happened with one of Galway’s favourite eateries in the Covid-19 lockdown. Now Caprice in Church Lane is ready to emerge from restrictions with the rest of the hospitality sector to face the challenge of new ways of socialising for the foreseeable future.

All the requested amendments, in line with Government guidelines, have been made to ensure Caprice continues to provide the highest standard of care for both customers and staff. Owners Vicky and John Casey are positive about the changes, and their reopening will even see the introduction of a new pizza menu which will be available from Wednesday to Sunday.

Speaking ahead of this week’s reopening, owner Vicky Casey said: "We have been really busy behind the scenes and are excited for everyone to experience our new space with its fresh look and feel. It will be fantastic to welcome our wonderful customers back at Caprice, and to all who have booked in so far, we’re very thankful."

Caprice will open from 10am daily for takeaway coffee and pastries. Takeaway lunch is available from 11am with the option of dining, with limited capacity, in the stunning surroundings Caprice is famed for. A full dinner menu is available from 5.30pm to 9pm Wednesday to Sunday; however booking is essential by calling 091 564781 or emailing [email protected].
