Poetry reading with Trotsky's great-granddaughter

Veronica Volkow, Kim Moore, and Ailbhe Darcy to read at the July Over The Edge

LEON TROTSKY'S great-granddaughter, Veronica Volkow, will, along with fellow-poets Kim Moore and Ailbhe Darcy, read at this month's Over The Edge: Open Reading via Zoom.

From Cumbria, Kim Moore is one of the leading new voices in British poetry. Her debut collection, The Art of Falling, won the 2016 Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize. She has also won a Northern Writers Award 2014, an Eric Gregory Award (2011 ) and the Geoffrey Dearmer Prize (2010 ).

Dubliner Ailbhe Darcy lecturers in creative writing at Cardiff University. Her poetry collections Imaginary Menagerie (2011 ) and Insistence (2018 ) have both been published by Bloodaxe.

Veronica Volkow lives in Mexico City and is a poet and travel writer. She is also the great-granddaughter of co-leader of the Russian Revolution Leon Trotsky. She is a professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Veronica has published numerous collections of poetry and will be reading her poems in English and Spanish.
