Can you believe we have two game weeks completed already? Yes, the return to football means games are coming at us thick and fast and this weekend sees the added bonus of the four FA Cup quarter-finals thrown into the mix.
But who are the men to get the job done in the league so your team can climb the ladder in the Advertiser Tribal League in association with Monroe's Tavern?
Top picks
Raúl Jiménez (Wolves - £8.3 million ) v Aston Villa
The Mexican striker has picked up where he left off with two goals in two games since the restarting of the league. Raúl Jiménez scored five goals in seven league outings prior to the shutdown but it seems the competition's three month holiday has had no impact on his sharpness as he scored the opener against West Ham last Saturday as well as the winner on Wednesday against Bournemouth. On Saturday, Champions League chasing Wolves travel to Premier League strugglers Aston Villa who have the league's worst defensive record with 59 goals conceded. While Dean Smith's men have put in battling performances in their three matches so far, I can only see an away victory with Jiménez on target. Get him in your team.
Anthony Martial (Man United - £8 million ) v Brighton
If you selected the French international for game week 31 then congratulations as Anthony Martial produced the goods with a brilliant hat-trick against Sheffield United at Old Trafford on Wednesday. On Tuesday, Martial and co travel to Brighton hoping to keep up the pressure on Chelsea for that vital fourth place. The Seagulls' return to action has been a rather fruitful one having snatched a dramatic winner against Arsenal before earning a tough point away to Leicester. The only setback for Graham Potter's men was Neal Maupay's penalty miss against The Foxes which would have handed the AMEX Stadium side an extra two important points in their fight against relegation. I can see this being a toughly contested match with the spoils being shared. However, I believe Martial will get his name in the scoresheet.
Harry Kane (Spurs - £10.2 million ) v Sheffield United
Don't ask me why but I have a feeling Harry Kane might just be about to go on a scoring spree until the end of the season. No logic just my gut says the England international whose season has been punctured by injury as well as poor form, will do something, having got his first goal since Spurs drew 2-2 against bottom side Norwich City in December. On Thursday, the north London side travel to Yorkshire to take on Sheffield United. The Blades have arguably been the worst affected team from lockdown having only secured one point in three games, albeit they should have beaten Aston Villa if hawk-eye had performed its duty. I think Spurs will win this one with Kane bagging himself a brace.
