Live from the Róisín Dubh

Online shows from Tracy Bruen, The Dirty Circus, and John Conneely

THE RÓISÍN Dubh, the award winning music venue on Dominick Street, is opening its doors once more to live events with a series of shows to mark its 17th birthday.

The venue will host fours shows this weekend. It was due to have started tonight with Tracy Bruen, but that show has unfortunately had to have been cancelled. However all other shows are proceeding as planned. The Dirty Circus burlesque and cabaret night takes place tomorrow tomorrow, the Comedy KARLnival (Saturday - see separate article ), and concluding on Sunday with John Conneely Inc.

There will be no audiences in attendance or members of the public admitted to the performances. All shows will be performed live from the Róisín Dubh stage, with social distancing in place to protect the performers, and live-streamed via https://www.facebook.com/roisindubhgalway.

Galway's long overdue helping of sauce sexiness, and decadence is back when The Dirty Circus struts its stuff on Friday (June 26 ) from 9pm. The line-up is Steven Sharpe, Barbara Vixen, Daria Decollette, and Janaína, so expect classic burlesque, drag, circus, pole divas, and bellydance.

Rounding off things on Sunday from 10.30pm is John Conneely Inc, bringing viewers one of their regular Sunday jazz and blues sessions.

The shows are free to view but there will be a paypal link to donate a ‘tip’ to the artists. See www.roisindubh.net
