GHR Consulting is a Human Resources and Recruitment consultancy based in Galway, set up by Ruairi Guckian in October, 2019. A native of Salthill, Ruairi is a highly experienced HR professional. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from NUIG, a Master’s Degree in Corporate Strategy and People Management and Development from NUIG, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the London Metropolitan University.
With over 12 years of national and international HR management experience, his works includes a long spell working with Europe’s largest construction project, Crossrail, in London.
Ruairi returned to live in Galway in early 2014. Many of his close friends and associates are now business owners, and the most common HR difficulties they face are attracting and retaining good staff; getting expert HR advice in a timely manner; the high cost of outsourcing their recruitment function; and knowing what an employer’s responsibilities are, under Irish employment law.
