Your feet in safe hands

Angela Mc Anearney, Roisin Dooley, and Anthony Walsh of Galway Podiatry Clinic, 34 Upper Abbeygate Sreet, are back to provide the same professional, patient-centred, friendly, podiatry service that you have come to expect for relief of all your foot problems.

To create a “safe zone” clinic for your protection the team have made some small changes; you will be greeted at the door and asked to put on your face mask, you will be given hand wipes, your temperature will be checked with a contactless thermometer, and you will be asked seven triage questions, all of which takes less than one minute. The clinic has added bleach to its usual disinfectant cleaning, and and each team member wears a mask and face shield. To enable social distancing, the clinic has more flexible hours. Phone 091 564417 to arrange an appointment to suit you.

As experts in all aspects of foot problems the team at Galway Podiatry Clinic continue to deliver their usual services; painless treatment of ingrown toenails; corns, callus removal; biomechanical assessment; and making or supplying comfortable and supportive orthotic insoles. They now use a Freezepen for the treatment of stubborn verrucae. They also provide a comprehensive vascular and neurological assessment, with a take-home print-out, for people with diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, and circulation problems.

House calls are available on request. For more information or to book an appointment at Galway Podiatry Clinic, phone 091 564417.
