INTERACTION - A Digital Theatre Programme continues throughout this weekend, including the presentation of a new work by Galway theatre marker John Rogers.
Presented by the Galway Theatre Festival and Galway 2020, InterAction, is free to watch (but some events are ticketed ) on www.interactiongalway.com, and runs until this Sunday. The project producer is Jane Hanberry.
One of the highlights will be In The Mouth Of Fire by Galway based theatre maker John Rogers, which will be screened tomorrow [Friday May 29] at 8pm. This is an 'overture' to a larger experiential theatre piece by Rogers, entitled The Stars In Winter, which celebrates the "mystery and joy of astronomy".
Another event to look out for is Victory Over The Sun/’Figuren’ by Padraig Conway (Saturday May 30, 2pm ), which explores the modernist aesthetics, contemporary drawing, design software, and gaming technology, and is inspired by El Lissitzky and progressive tendencies in Russian art.
